My name is Adrian Whyte,
I myself had lessons off various teachers for many years, and dissatisfied with the lack of resources used I have setup my own teaching facility with all my resources together including books, recording equipment and internet access. You know, so there's more in the room than a music stand and a chair!
I use video, recording and typical old fashioned methods of teaching, and I work on a student by student basis with no set criteria - I'll work out how you learn and run with it! So no bludgeoning of theory and reading if it's not what you wanna do.
Some of my achievments and current pursuits include:
-Columnist for Australian Guitar Magazine
-Guitarist for 'Sun Rising - the songs that made memphis' - Sun Records show
-Guitarist in multiple jazz and swing outfits
-Singer songwriter with extensive radio play including Triple J
-Instrumental arrangements have been used all over the world for weddings and have caught the attention of celebrities
-Youtube channel with hundreds of thousands of plays: checkout Adrian Whyte on youtube, you'll see some of my turorials and students
I also like to have a laugh, so it's a pre requisite that students have a sense of humour. Seriously!
No big deal, but we even have concerts and bbqs periodically (see pic below!)
